Oven curing is a post molding process, used for EPP & EPO parts which is necessary for drying and expansion of beads to form a dimensionally stable product. The pats are kept into a closed chamber with hot air circulation up to 80 degree C.
Generally the oven timing depends on the material density, for lower densities like 45 P, the oven timing is higher up to 16 hours, and similarly for higher densities like 20P grade is 10 to 12 hours. For EPO material the oven timing is lesser as compared to EPP.
